Information we may collect

Why we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, assess availability, arrange and deliver tuition, administer bookings and payments, communicate about lessons, support learners and instructors, maintain business and accounting records, protect our systems and improve our services.

Services that help us operate

Information may be processed by carefully selected service providers where needed, including Hostinger and WordPress for website hosting and secure form storage, Fresha for online booking and payments, Google for measurement or advertising where consent has been given, and Trustindex or social platforms where external review and social content is displayed. Payment providers process card details under their own privacy terms; MPL does not receive your full card number.

Historical enquiries collected through services previously used by MPL are retained only for as long as they remain necessary and are removed in line with our retention responsibilities.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s appropriate legal safeguards and contractual protections.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for tuition, customer service, safeguarding, dispute handling, insurance, tax and accounting purposes. Enquiry information that does not lead to tuition is reviewed and removed when it is no longer useful. Financial records are normally retained for the period required by UK tax and company law. Cookie choices are normally stored for up to six months.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant information with your chosen instructor, our office team, service providers, insurers, professional advisers or public authorities where necessary and lawful. We may also share information where you ask us to or where it is needed to protect someone’s safety or legal rights.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain uses.
