Intensive Driving Courses – Learn Faster with MPL
Our intensive driving courses are designed for learners who want to make fast progress
over a short period of time. Rather than taking one lesson a week, you’ll complete
multiple hours over a few days or weeks – helping you build confidence and reach
test standard more quickly.
Unlike some providers, our focus is on time behind the wheel – not sitting
in a classroom. With MPL, your hours are spent driving, practising real-world
skills on real roads, not just watching presentations.
Courses are normally taken over 1, 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the number of
hours you book and your current level of experience. Ideally, you’ll already have
passed your theory test so that we can aim to book your driving test towards
the end of your course (subject to DVSA test availability).
All intensive courses include free access to our online theory revision
resources, including Theory Test Pro, so you can prepare properly alongside
your practical training.
Course A – “The Fast Pass” – 12 Hours – £540

very close to test standard. This course is designed to sharpen skills, fix any
problem areas and get you ready to retake your test with confidence.
- 12 hours of in-car tuition (minimum 2 days)
- Perfect for recent test fails or near-test-standard learners
- Focused on ironing out minor faults and building confidence
Course B – “The Classic Five Day” – 21 Hours – £903

learn over an intensive five-day period. You should already be able to drive
in medium traffic and have some experience with the manoeuvres.
- 21 hours of in-car tuition (minimum 5 days)
- Best for learners with a reasonable level of experience
- Ideal if you want a structured, one-week intensive course
Course C – “The Quick Learner” – 30 Hours – £1200
Ideal for pupils who have some basic ability but limited overall experience.
You should have reasonable control of the car and have started the manoeuvres,
but need more time to build confidence and polish all areas of your driving.
- 30 hours of in-car tuition (typically over 7–10 days)
- Great for learners who’ve done some lessons but aren’t test-ready
- Balanced between building skills and preparing for test standard
Course D – “The Novice Learner” – 42 Hours – £1600
Designed for pupils who have had very little driving experience –
roughly around 5–10 hours of previous tuition. This course gives you
enough time to build solid control, learn all key skills and work towards test
standard.
- 42 hours of in-car tuition (minimum 2 weeks)
- Ideal if you’re still quite new to driving
- Covers all key skills, manoeuvres and test preparation
Course E – “The New Starter” – 50 Hours – £1895

course is designed to take you from your very first lesson all the way through
to being ready for your driving test (subject to individual progress).
- 50 hours of in-car tuition (over 2–3 weeks minimum)
- Ideal if you have little or no previous driving experience
- Plenty of time to build confidence and cover all topics in depth
Note: None of our intensive course prices include the DVSA driving test fee.
We can help find and arrange a test for you and charge a £20 admin fee for this
service in addition to the DVSA test fee.
When comparing prices with other providers, always check
how many actual in-car hours are included in their intensive courses, as this
can vary significantly.
